Prepare for a meet with these 5 essential tips!
Meet days can be nerve wracking, but being well-prepared can make all the difference. Today, I’m sharing my top 5 tips for preparing for a gymnastics meet. These tips will help you feel ready and calm for when you need to preform to your best!
Tip
#1 - I always try and visualize all my routines the night before. It helps me see myself in that position and it helps me calm my nerves by showing myself that I can do these routines.
Tip
#2 - me personally I like to keep myself busy. Meaning when I have a meet later in the day I don’t want to be stressing the whole day about my meet. So I will go shopping or go and do something to keep my mind busy before I go compete.
