#ad Like any dad, I like to keep everything and never throw anything away. For example, instead of throwing away an old ice chest cooler, I had the idea to build a side table for our outdoor couch. Complete with a speaker shelf, lip-balm holder, phone charger, umbrella, bottle opener and of course a secret cooler that “somebody” wanted to throw away. I used cedar wood to construct the table and used rustoleum Custom Spray 5-in-1 cans to help match the color of our outdoor couch. I really liked the vertical and horizontal fans for this build because of the wood slat design. After finishing this project, my wife was actually very happy we didn’t throw the cooler away and now wants me to build another side table for the other end of the couch…the projects never end.
