Feeling a mix of emotions after the HYROX Cologne 🏁 As athletes, we train tirelessly, pushing our limits to perform our best. But sometimes, despite our efforts, things don’t go as planned😞 Last Sunday was one of those days for me… The disappointment of falling short of my expectations is real. 😩 and it has taking me some days to rest and reflect, and on top is this I have been through surgery (non-critical) - so kind of like my health wanted to match my feelings 🤕❤️‍🩹 I have been frustrated about the inconsistency in judging that affected the outcome for me in burpee broad-jumps. Going from a top 4 position to 15th was just to much to catch up even with half the race left at this very competitive race 😅 Fairness should be the bedrock of any competition and I hope and know hyroxworld will align this in the future 🙏🏻 Nonetheless, challenges like these only fuel my determination to keep pushing forward 🥳 I will be practicing brupee broad-jumps endlessly for the next months...
