BAKED BLUSHES EXPLAINED as inspired by @Saie's latest launch, their Supersuede Baked Blush, which IMHO gives baked blush a 2025 upgrade 👀 Traditionally, baked formulas are known for their smooth, seamless application with a sheer, buildable finish. What Saie’s beauty Product Development team likely did here is challenge the Italian manufacturer (as baked product originated in Italy at Italian manufacturing facilities - it’s very specific to Italy) to have a higher pigment load without losing that signature airy blend. A tiny touch of pearl adds a soft radiance, making it feel almost like a blush and highlight in one. But the novelty here is in the pigment load with easy blend-ability. This to me seems like the next evolution of baked blush, where silky texture meets bold color. Think comparatively to hourglass’ ambient - soft and sheer.
