Maternal mortality rates are already disproportionately high amongst Black women, even more so in Republican led states with abortion bans. Look, I don't believe the Democrats are our saviors, but the facts are clear that the other side is running on a platform committed to hurting Black people. I think it needs constant reiteration that I don't agree with the actions of the United States globally, by any means, however, I'm voting based on the issues that are on the ballot.
