You DO NOT need a camera that can take photos at 100 frames per second to take racing photos. Motorsport photography is generally very predictable. What I always tell younger photographers that think gear is the end all be all to photography; is that photographers many many decades ago, made STUNNING images on film cameras that had none of the modern conveniences you lean on. Yet they still made beautiful images. How? Because they understood the principles of photography and composition and chose the moment to make the image. Don’t rely on the gear to take an image. Rely on yourself and your ability as a photographer to *make* those images.
