Cinnamon Salt Dough Mushroom Ornaments 🎄✨🍄 They smell wonderful and they’re SO easy to make! I painted mine with acrylic paint, but that’s totally optional! Even just simple shapes are so much fun and make the house smell lovely! Recipe: 2 cups all purpose flour 1 cup table salt 1 cup water 1/4 cup ground cinnamon Various cookie cutters/molds Preheat oven to 250°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside. Mix all the ingredients together in a bowl. You may need to use your hands to make sure everything is incorporated. Flour a work surface or cover it with parchment paper. Roll out the dough to 1/4 inch thick. Use cookie cutters to cut out shapes and a straw to make the string holes. If using a mold make sure to dust with flour first to help the dough come out easier. Bake the cookies for 2 hours. You will need additional time for thicker cookies from molds. Remove from oven once cookies look fully dried and allow to cool completely before decorating.
