A sweet little toadstool cottage hand pie fit for any little woodland creature to reside! 🍄🐸✨🐌🪻The buttery pie crust is packed full of mixed berry jam goodness! To make: Make a paper template in your desired shape. I chose a mushroom. Use either a store bought double pie crust or your favorite homemade recipe. Roll the pie crusts to 1/4 inch thick. Use the template to make two identical shapes (or 4, 6, 8, etc. if making minis). You’ll need at least one for the bottom of the hand pie and one for the top. Spread your desired filling to the bottom pie crust leaving a 1/2 inch border. To the border add an egg wash (beaten egg and a splash of heavy cream) evenly. Place the top crust over the bottom/filling evenly. Crimp the edges using a fork or spoon. Cut vents in the top crust. Glaze the entire pie with your egg wash. Bake at 425°F until golden brown!
