I’ve found a way to beat the heat and get added skin benefits at the same time! Fresh flowers and herbs from my garden infused into Witch Hazel is my new favorite thing. I store it in the fridge and mist myself throughout the day! It’s so refreshing and smells wonderful! Directions: Fill your jar full of herbs and flowers that are safe to use on skin! I used basil, rosemary, sage, chamomile, calendula, echinacea, tulsi and yarrow. Each contains numerous beneficial properties for your skin (I’ll touch more on those in a picture post coming soon). The jar should be full but not packed too tightly. Pour the witch Hazel over the herbs. Make sure to fully cover all plant material. Once you make the infusion you will want to store it in your fridge for two weeks. After two weeks you can strain out the herbs and place the remaining liquid into a misting bottle.
