This Giving Tuesday, I wanted to share the incredible opportunity I had this summer to introduce the sport I love to kids from my hometown. Thanks to ashleyofficialca and its Hope to Dream Program in support of mamasformamas I was able to introduce kids to the various track and field events of the heptathlon (and added a relay for fun!). Words cannot describe the joy it brought me to see young girls and boys’ step into my world for the day and try some of these events. 🥹 Each received a complete mattress set thanks to the Hope to Dream program.
