People from across the country moved to Colorado in 2023, and many of the new residents came from Colorado’s not-so-beloved neighbor. After a net loss of almost 7,000 residents due to domestic migration in 2022, the following year saw a net gain of nearly 31,000 people in Colorado, according to a new analysis of U.S. Census Bureau data just released by StorageCafe. Colorado ranked eighth in the nation, the study shows, despite being the only state in the top ten where people moved from places with cheaper housing.
