Day 1 padmasan (lotus pose)

• Gaze: Forward or between eyebrows.
• Bhandha: Maha
• Breath: Diaphragmatic
• Energy: feel the stretch in back of thighs and left hip, ribs
Modifications: it easier to sit on a block or folded blanket. Half lotus.
• Contraindications: Avoid practicing this pose if you have a recent or chronic injury to the knees, ankles, or hips. Lotus Pose
