In focus, lifelight.design Kilian has been Heilung’s main light designer since the very beginning. We like to think that Heilung is more than just something you hear, because seeing the ritual and feeling it all merging together is what creates the whole experience. Back to back, the ritual is a round story and the lighting changes as the performance progresses; light is a crucial part of that story. Since Lifa in 2017 Kilian has added and changed many things to make the ritual even more immersive. About his work in Heilung he says: “My job as a visual artist is to create the look of Heilung and furthermore I have many responsibilities close to that of an Art Director. I work very close with Christopher, Kai and Maria on their artistic, spiritual and emotional vision and how to put it in perspective on a stage.
