In focus, Nicolas schippermusik Nicolas is one of Heilung's main drummers. Once starting out as driver transporting our gear, he grew to Ritual-manager and eventually landed exactly where his passion is, drumming. He is now one of the trinity of beatmakers, together with jacobheelund and shaelektro . Nicolas has a signature two-tone look on stage. He explains: "...My two colours is the pain, deaths and constant fight of First Nation/indigenous people fighting for their territories, their land and culture. The colors are a symbolic representation inspired by Wuairuro seeds from the Amazonas from my homeland Ecuador, a seed used to call the good spirits, bring health, good luck and balance. It represents the duality of life but not as discrimination or separation. More as a phase, cycle, past and future, good and bad, day and night, north and south, conscious and subconscious, mind and body.
