MY FIRST PHILLY CHEESESTEAK IN PHILADELPHIA, PA GENO’S STEAKS 1219 S 9TH ST PHILADELPHIA, PA PHILLY/JERSEY FOOD TRIP DROPPING THIS SATURDAY! My first time in Philly! I can’t wait to go back! This trip I only had an hour or two so I had to knock out the most well known tourist cheesesteak spots that I’ve been hearing about pretty much my whole life. Every time I visit a city I’ve never been to I always hit up the well known touristy spots. It’s a must! On my next trip ima hit all the local gems for sure! This cheesesteak is not as bad as everyone makes it seem. The bread is good, the cheese wiz I actually liked, the whole cuts of rib eye are cooked right in front of you, it’s fresh but it is lacking flavor. I wouldn’t mind eating this again. Is it the best? Nah flavor wise I’ve had better cheesesteaks out here in the bay. Next I hit up Pat’s right across the street!
