I turned off my headlights and cut the engine, and proceeded to watch them graze until they walked into the heavy timber. I came away with some nice summer portraits featuring wildflowers and antlers still in full velvet... too cool! One image at 70mm shows two elk, and one photo closer to 200mm reveals the amazing velvet antler details."
