Hello from Japan 🇯🇵….Let’s Check Out Gotokuji Temple known as Tokyo’s Maneki-Neko “Lucky Cat” Temple 🐈 This temple has been on my travel list for forever as I just adore Maneki-Neko aka the lucky cat. I have so many lucky cats at home and have always believed in the legend of prosperity they bring not to mention they are just the cutest in my opinion. LEGEND: The story of the Maneki-neko at Gotokuji Temple in Tokyo, Japan, is about a cat that led a feudal lord to safety during a storm. The lord was grateful and dedicated the temple to his clan, and the temple became known as the birthplace of the Maneki-Neko. What I found most magical about yesterday’s visit is that you were in the presence of thousands and thousands of wishes that were made there and came true. We made a wish on our Manno-Neko and will be back when our wishes come true to drop off our lucky cat to the Gotokuji temple and make a wish on a new one. A must visit if you find yourself in Tokyo!
