My first experience on a luxury sightseeing train in Japan – the Shimakaze sightseeing limited express checks off all the boxes in what I think a sightseeing train is like! The seats were super comfy with massage functions, food served at the cafe car was pretty decent and affordable, views were good, it's quiet and no loud talking, large windows for viewing, clean vanity and more... take this the next time if you're planning to make a visit to Ise-Shima from either Osaka, Kyoto and Nagoya!
