TW: infant loss October 15 is National Pregnancy & Infant Loss Awareness Day 💙 This goes out to the boy who first made me a mom, my dearest LukaTony James. He joined us earthside on May 3rd, 2014, and passed away in my arms exactly a week later on Mexican Mother’s Day. Every year, I talk about this day because it’s one of my c o r e memories that has truly shaped me into who I am today. It’s ironic how such a tragic loss can also connect me to other moms on a deeper level. My heart goes out to all the parents, especially mamas, who have experienced a loss due to miscarriage, stillbirth, neonatal complications, SIDS, and unfortunate events.
