RHO isn’t officially an acronym for anything, but “Rhino” was the truck’s internal codename, so close enough. Effectively, the RHO’s bones consist of a #Ram TRX with the new inline-six engine under the hood, which means it has the same frame and chassis modifications that allowed the TRX to jump and smash over most obstacles. It competes directly with the Ford F-150 Raptor, but the end of the Hellcat engine means Ram no longer has a direct answer for the F-150 Raptor R and its Shelby GT500 powertrain.
