I think this is my favorite photo that I’ve ever taken. To be honest, I usually don’t take much enjoyment out of photography, (mostly because I don’t shoot photo very often anymore) so to be this stoked about a frame is a rarity for me hahaha You would think a shot like this was planned, but it was truly just a matter of austinrowwe and I seizing the opportunity in front of us. Austin and I were shooting side by side, he was running the FX6 and I was on the a1 shooting stills. We had enough sunlight for berto213_ to make this pass towards us only about three times before the sun dipped below the mountains. One of my favorite things about photography and filmmaking is that when you leave space to adapt and be creative on the fly, you almost always come out with a result greater than it could’ve ever been, if you had planned out every detail.
