Earlier this month, the Cleveland Cavaliers Academy visited Frederick Law Olmsted PS 64 school and the Arthur O. Eve School of Excellence in Buffalo. The visit was inspired by student TJ McAlister, who had toured the Cavs’ stadium and wanted to bring that excitement back to his friends in Buffalo. This led to the Cleveland Cavaliers Academy making a stop at PS 64. Their mission is to inspire youth through basketball, motivating them to be active, make wise choices on and off the court, and build confidence. This experience was valuable to the children in our E District communities, and we look forward to more collaborations like this.
