From an early age, I learned that dedication drives results. As I grew older, I realized that those results may not always appear as expected, but they often unfold as exactly what’s needed. I always knew I wanted to go to college, but the admissions process was an emotional rollercoaster. Getting an acceptance from UC San Diego felt like years of unwavering commitment paying off, but I soon realized that getting in was just the beginning. Adjusting to college while commuting, working, and balancing leadership roles was challenging. There were days when I questioned if the degree was worth it.
