Texas' Tre Johnson took the court for the first time last night and wasted no time making his presence felt. From the opening minutes, his aggressive scoring mentality was unmistakable—killer instinct, always on the hunt. He’s got that edge, that relentless drive to take over, which, when channeled properly, is invaluable. By halftime, Johnson led all scorers with 15 points, showcasing his ability to score from anywhere on the floor. The second half was more of the same, with Johnson closing the night with 29 points. Though Texas ultimately fell to Ohio State, 71-64, Johnson’s assertiveness, shot creation, and smooth shooting form stood out. Tough, competitive, and locked in defensively, he left his mark not only through scoring but with his rebounding, facilitating, and presence on both ends of the court. I went into the game with Johnson ranked No. 6 on my big board, and after watching him in person last night, that spot feels right. #TreJohnson #TexasBasketball #NBADraft #CollegeHo...
