In the second game of the OVC Tournament, the Murray State Racers faced off against the Morehead State Eagles in a game that would become an instant classic.
The Racers overcame a 5-1 deficit before the game was abruptly halted due to a lightning delay after the 9th inning ended tied at 6. The game would start the next morning in the top of the 10th where the Racers once again had to come from behind and eventually plate the winning run in the bottom of the 13th inning on a bunt by shortstop David Hudleson that scored Trey Woosley from 1st base on a throwing error.
