First introduced in 2006, reference 5396 pays tribute to Patek Philippe’s 1930s dial design. For the first time in an annual calendar model, Patek incorporated a twin in-line display, reminiscent of the perpetual calendar seen in references 3448 and 3450.
In 2024, Patek unveiled the current white gold 5396G, enhancing the collection with a gradient blue dial and diamond-set baguette indices. At its core is Patek’s automatic caliber 26‑330, visible through a sapphire case back. This movement powers the annual calendar, moonphase, and central sweep seconds hand.
