SpaceX launched the Falcon 9 for its NROL-69 mission Monday afternoon from the Space Launch Complex at Cape Canaveral Space Force in Florida.
The Kennedy Space Center said the launch is "a classified mission" for the National Reconnaissance Office (NRO) - an intelligence agency responsible for operating recon satellites of the federal government.
It was NRO's fifth launch of 2025 and the first in partnership with the United States Space Force Space Systems Command.
Following stage separation, the Falcon 9 booster landed safely on Landing Zone 1.
