Just saw that today is National Girls and Women in Sports day today!! I’m currently sitting it the presidents section at the BYU men’s basketball game tonight because of my passion for sports, so I just had to post! Learning how to navigate this male dominated industry hasn’t been easy. There have been many times where I have felt inadequate and less than because of hateful and snide comments that have been made to me. Instead of getting discouraged and down on myself it has made me want to just work harder! I want to blaze trails for all the little girls out there who dream of working in sports! I want to be an example and role model to those who feel like they aren’t enough! Let me be the first to tell any girl or woman who wants to work in sports, you BELONG, you are ENOUGH, and most importantly you are WORTH IT!! Never let anyone tell you different!
