From Rutgers to the White House to one of the most prestigious fellowships in the world—Nina Gohel’s journey is nothing short of inspiring.
Nina was recently awarded the prestigious Schwarzman Scholarship, one of the most competitive fellowships in the world. She’ll join a select group of future global leaders at Schwarzman College at Tsinghua University, preparing to tackle the world’s biggest challenges.🌍
At Rutgers–New Brunswick, Nina made history as the first Asian American Pacific Islander woman elected student body VP, using her leadership to uplift student voices. She didn’t stop there—she interned at the EPA and the U.S. Department of the Interior, then went on to work at the U.S. Department of State and even as a staff assistant in the White House after graduation.
Now, she’s working towards a master’s degree in law and society in China as a Yenching Scholar, researching how gender quotas impact women in politics.
