I was part of artpopstreetgallery second year and I saw firsthand how it transforms artist careers, including my own. It creates real opportunities, giving creative visibility and a platform to thrive. Now Charlotte risks losing that. Without Art Pop we edge closer to a bland, beige future where creativity fades, and opportunities vanish. Charlotte has always been a city where Artists rise, ideas take shape, and public art thrives. If we don't act down, we risk creative neutrality. Funding for the arts is at a critical low. Without immediate support, ArtPop Street Gallery will be forced to close, and many others will follow. To shine a light on this crisis, they've launched “Beige”—a bold yet bleak awareness campaign in collaboration with the anonymous collective GHOST, Adams Outdoor, and Awedience Media.
