When you’re backing up some files and find photos you don’t remember AT ALL 😂 I photographed Jake Owen’s Beach Party on Music Row in 2014 as one of my first bigger concerts. I have one of the photos of him framed on my desk because it’s one of my favorites, not because it’s him, but because it was a milestone and I just really love the photo. I like the one or two songs of his that I know 😂 But this photo must have flown under the radar and for some reason popped out at me while I’m archiving early this morning before starting work. A lot of my early photo work I look back on and cringe - and a lot of the photos from this concert were terrible, but I’m still pleased because I can see through the sequence that I was really trying to think outside the box and get creative.
