It took me years to fully accept and be okay living at home in my later 20's. A lot of it comes from understanding what total freedom is like being on my own (my time solo traveling the world). I am naturally a very independent person, so coming back to sharing a space was really hard. But after years of internal work, changing my mindset, and therapy, I've come to a point where I'm now happy to be home. Having a roof over my head, family to hang out with, no financial pressures, and being able to focus on my work is not just a blessing, but a privilege. Do I still have thoughts of moving out? Of course, but that's for my future self to worry about.
