They say a picture is worth a thousand words. It has been a year since the collapse of the Francis Scott Key Bridge. Driving into Baltimore for work, I saw it daily. The day before the tragedy, I told myself I needed to capture a new drone image of it. The only one I had was from my first year flying drones, and I never felt it was my best work. It was a gloomy, gray day, and I always intended to return for a better shot of the bridge—a defining piece of Baltimore’s skyline. Who would have thought that image would be my only one? Now, it holds even greater meaning.
