The City of Raleigh will welcome back several familiar faces to the city council in the next term. Stormie Denise Forte will serve her third term, originally taking office in 2020. Forte is the first African-American woman elected to the city council. Jonathan Lambert-Melton was first elected to the city council in 2019.
