If you’re in the Jackson Hole area you absolutely must drive through and visit the National Elk Refuge! There’s elk in thousands! I can’t wait to go back and enjoy one of their horse-drawn sleigh rides through an elk herd. Besides elk you may see bison, pronghorn, bighorn sheep, trumpeter swans, bald eagles, cutthroat trout, wolves, mountain lions, and grizzly bears.
