This morning, Governor Mike DeWine and Lt. Governor Jon Husted today announced the approval of assistance for six projects set to create 332 new jobs and retain 926 jobs statewide. One of the projects included AWT Member, Ohio Ordnance Works!
Ohio Ordnance Works, Inc. expects to create 70 full-time positions, generating $3.9 million in new annual payroll, and retaining $5,542,814 in existing payroll, as a result of the company’s expansion project in the city of Chardon. Ohio Ordnance Works is a manufacturer of firearms and ordnance for supply to different foreign and domestic government agencies. The Ohio Tax Credit Authority approved this project's 1.226%, six-year Job Creation Tax Credit.
