Fireworks are being set off from Prince's Island Park tonight at midnight. They're launched from the west end of the park and they will have an area closed off for safety in the vicinity of that, so you won't be able to get too close. You'll be able to see them from pretty much any place surrounding it, such as in the blue areas I've marked. Most people will be heading to the Crescent Heights hill that overlooks downtown. It'll be paaaaacked up there. The City has made the road that stretches along the hill a no stopping zone and they'll have staff out there to coordinate that. • Starting at 8pm at Prince's Island Park they'll be doing family entertainment. Music, entertainers, fire pits, food trucks. • At 9pm there will be an ice skating DJ dance party at the Eau Claire lagoon (right end of the island).
