It's not that Calgarians just love bricks and want bricks in their homes, the inscriptions at Olympic Plaza were memories. A lot of them involve people that have since passed away, and they were also used as part of something significant for the City. A lot of things have happened in that space over the years as well. Kind of special mementos. It's nice that approximately 5000 people were able to fill out the form in time to have them saved. For everyone else it's just a memory graveyard now.
