The New Guinea flatworm is a quickly-spreading invasive flatworm that's been spotted in Durham, NC (2018) and Wilmington, NC (2021). The flatworm is about 2 inches long and has a black body with a pale stripe down its back, though the stripe may not be visible in bright light. The underside is pale gray or cream color. Be careful not to touch these harmful worms.
