A moderated discussion on the rise of anti-Asian hate, its causes and impact on the U.S. According to the Center for the Study of Hate and Extremism, in 2021 there was a 339% increase in anti-Asian hate crimes in the U.S. The factors behind the increase in anti-Asian hate and their impact on communities will be the subject of a conversation with experts Connie Chung Joe and Russell Jeung, moderated by Professor Emily Ryo.
