We Made It to Orlando! Tux and I officially made it to Orlando for Global Pet Expo! As soon as we arrived, we wasted no time—we went straight to the Orange County Convention Center to get our badges. In true rookie fashion, I parked at the wrong concourse, which meant an unexpected adventure (aka, a LOT of extra steps). But Tux was a trooper, staying focused and earning a few compliments from bystanders on how well-behaved he was! On the way out, I had a bit of a handler fail—I fumbled the leash while juggling bags and a cheese lure, and Tux took the opportunity to say hi to a service dog. He didn’t make it all the way up (a few feet away), but he didn’t vocalize his feelings. Totally on me, but a good learning moment for both of us! After badge pickup, we headed to the hotel, where check-in was packed. It took 45 minutes to get our keys, but Tux was so patient, staying quiet and attentive the whole time.
