Bow Seat led an inspiring workshop for high school-aged Girl Scouts from across the Northeastern U.S., exploring the power of artivism and the role of printmaking in activism. Scouts ventured outside to collect leaves, flowers, and bark, transforming them into stunning gel plate prints—a hands-on way to connect art with advocacy. Held in Newport, Rhode Island, the event fostered creativity and environmental awareness. At the conference’s exhibit fair, Bow Seat also hosted a table where attendees designed custom buttons using artwork from past Ocean Awareness Contest yearbooks while learning about Bow Seat’s programs.
