Join us to participate in Maria Gaspar’s ongoing “Disappearance Jail” project on view at The Gund through April 13, 2024.
“Disappearance Jail” is an archive of more than 400 images of jails, prisons, and detention centers across the US. At the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, Gaspar started carefully perforating the images with a hole punch to “remove” the institutions.
