Caltrans and local partners are holding a ground-breaking ceremony for the State Route 216 Lovers Lane Rehab Project. The $45 million project will create a new interchange alignment where Lovers Lane meets State Route 198. The roadway pavement on Lovers Lane between Noble Avenue and Houston Avenue will also be rehabilitated. New bicycle lanes and pedestrian walkways will be added on Houston Avenue between Lovers Lane and McAuliff Street. The project will also upgrade existing facilities to the current Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) standards.
