With the first week having passed of the new rules being officially implemented, we have seen the importance of goalkeepers joining the attack in the opposition half. This comes as a result of the new ‘3v3’ structure. As the goalie does not count as one of the 3 players, teams have been strategically pushing their goalie further up the pitch to act as the extra man. With some teams going as far as selecting normal outfield players as the goalie to get around this. What do you think?🤔
