Today is the last LA Sparks home game of the season. I’m so proud of the season we have had and the content we have created and the stories we have told, but I’m SO sad that it’s ending (for now). When I say this is my dream job, it’s quite literally a dream I get to live every single time I walk into that arena. Every time I stand in that tunnel and photograph the team, every time we chat about their off day plans, their outfits, their recovery, their families… Everytime they ask my about my children, or compliment my shoes, or pull me into a photo— I am just so BEYOND grateful for the privilege of being in this space. Everytime I step onto the court, or into the locker room I am humbled by the privilege I have of getting to tell just a small piece of their stories. Everytime the doors open and the fans fill the arena, I’m thankful that I have a front row seat to the way these incredible women are changing the game and changing the league and making history.
