USC pulls away late to defeat K-State in the Sweet Sixteen in Spokane, 67-61. Despite several missed opportunities, nothing can take away from what this season—and the past few years—have meant for K-State women’s basketball. This was, without a doubt, the program’s best run, made possible by Ayoka Lee, Serena Sundell, and Jaelyn Glenn, who laid the foundation for sustained success. K-State wouldn’t be where it is today without them, and they’ll be remembered among the greatest to ever wear the purple and white. Bright future ahead for this program.
