USC pulls away late to defeat K-State in the Sweet Sixteen in Spokane, 67-61.
Despite several missed opportunities, nothing can take away from what this season—and the past few years—have meant for K-State women’s basketball.
This was, without a doubt, the program’s best run, made possible by Ayoka Lee, Serena Sundell, and Jaelyn Glenn, who laid the foundation for sustained success.
K-State wouldn’t be where it is today without them, and they’ll be remembered among the greatest to ever wear the purple and white. Bright future ahead for this program.
Sundell led all scorers with 22 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists.
While this chapter comes to a close, the future is incredibly bright for the Wildcats.
