I am extremely competitive but that doesn't fully translate to being successful. There is a massive amount of work that needs to be done day-in and day-out. I punched the clock, everyday. My training and nutrition needed to be effective, I needed to peak at the right times, I needed to learn how to taper in to a race. This season was a testament to that hard work paying off.
