⚾️SPARTAN FENWAY⚾️ On Saturday I ran at the iconic Fenway Park. Home of the Boston Red Socks (go yankees!) I ran an incredible race. Topped out at a 5:28 min/mile pace on some of the flats. The weather was subpar and raining the whole race. I was in a pack of 5-6 guys for the first third but began to seperate. I crossed the finish line in first. I only failed one obstacle on the day and it ended up having much bigger of an impact then it should've. I slipped off the z-wall. No biggie, right? Well, in the heat of competition, on the verge of redline, running my heart out, I miss counted my penalty burpees and did 13 rather than 15. This incurred a 1:30 penalty and took away my win. Due to the mistake I made and the proper penalty for it, I wound up in 3rd. It stung for about 10 minutes but hindsight is 20/20.
