This week, we are preparing for January 20th by building our “mobilization toolkit” with strategies to build power over the next four years. In our last post, we spotlighted elected representatives and their responsibility to us, their constituents. Today, our second tool is focused on grassroots organization, community building, and sharing resources. For today: ORGANIZE COMMUNITY FORUMS. Our power is in our unity. When we host discussions, create community advocacy groups, and gather with our neighbors and friends to share resources, we crowdsource information and educate one another. This allows us to create a unified voice for change and amplify community needs. When we organize together, we win. It takes the work of all of us to make a difference, and COC is dedicated to working alongside you, our members and supporters, in 2025 and beyond.
